christian family worship God in home with holy bible on wooden table

Recognizing the vital and increasingly important role played by Christian radio, television, Internet, and other emerging technologies of mass communications, and the desire of the African Revival Radio “to foster and encourage excellence in Christian broadcasting by establishing and maintaining high standards with respect to content, method of presentation, speakers’ qualifications and ethical Practices,” African Revival Radio also recognizes that the general public looks to us to bring conformity to ethical behavior into our broadcasting, programming, and relational responsibilities. Recognizing the Bible as the standard by which we must evaluate all beliefs, teachings, preaching, and practices, African Revival Radio has adopted and each of its ministry team members, broadcasters, and preachers have subscribed to the following Code of Ethics:

  1. I will conduct my personal life, ministry, and business affairs in a way that will not bring shame or reproach to the name of the Lord or African Revival Radio ministries or its listeners. Rather, I will speak to bring glory and pleasure to our Lord and encourage others to do likewise. (I Peter 1:14-16; 2:12; 4:11)
  2. I will speak the truth in love, while preaching, teaching, or broadcasting on African Revival Radio (Ephesians 4:1-16)
  3. I will recognize and respect what the Lord is doing through other individuals and organizations while refraining from unnecessary criticism of them on air. (I Peter 3:8,9)
  4. I will not use the African Revival Radio as a means to knowingly speak falsely against anyone. (Exodus 20:16)
  5. I will refrain from any sexual conduct or lifestyle, such as homosexuality or adultery, which is inconsistent with Scripture, or any promotion of the same. (Romans 1:24-32; Genesis 19; Leviticus 18:22; Exodus 20:14; John 8:1-11)
